In general, electric cars can still tow less than internal combustion engine cars. According to ev-database.co.uk, the average towing weight is around 1,000 kg. Still, there are now models that can handle quite a bit – such as the BMW iX and the Kia EV9, both of which can tow up to 2,500 kg.
However, a trailer does greatly reduce the range. That’s why H-Lab members are thinking about a trailer that gives you just the push you need.
