Hapert shock absorbers
Heavy loads.
A steady ride.
Shock absorbers make your Indigo HT steadier and more stable, especially with a heavy machine on the load bed. They also form part of the technical requirements for Tempo 100 approval in Germany.

Tempo 100 approval in Germany
01
More ride comfort and stability
Shock absorbers damp suspension movement and smoothly absorb road irregularities. The trailer remains steady behind your vehicle, even fully loaded.
02
Ready for Tempo 100
Shock absorbers help your trailer meet one of the technical requirements for Tempo 100 approval in Germany. Optional on the Indigo HT-2 and HT-3.
Advice · Loading and weight distribution
Good to know
Loading a heavy machine? Check the weight distribution.
A tilting trailer often carries one heavy load: a mini excavator, loader or car. Its position determines the stability of your combination. Place the centre of gravity just ahead of the axles, keeping the nose weight within the limits of your towbar and trailer. Too little nose weight reduces stability; too much overloads the towbar and rear axle.
Secure the load with certified straps at the lashing points or bolt-on hooks, then recheck the tension after the first few kilometres. This helps protect your machine and trailer.

Frequently asked questions about tilting transporter trailers
Clear answers about the Indigo HT-2 and HT-3, payload, loading, options and service.
What is a tilting transporter trailer?
A tilting transporter trailer has a tilting load bed for carrying machinery, vehicles and heavy equipment. Its low loading angle makes loading and unloading quick, safe and controlled.
When should you choose a tilting transporter trailer?
Choose a tilting transporter trailer when you regularly carry machinery, work vehicles or cars. Ideal for landscapers, contractors, garages, hire companies and construction professionals.
Which Indigo HT versions are available?
The tandem-axle Indigo HT-2 is available in four sizes from 405 × 201 to 505 × 221 cm, at 2,700 to 3,500 kg. The triple-axle Indigo HT-3 with parabolic suspension is available in 505 × 201 and 505 × 221 cm, at 3,500 kg.
How much can an Indigo HT carry?
Payload ranges from 1,922 to 2,680 kg, depending on model, size and weight category. It is the gross trailer weight minus the unladen weight; options add to the unladen weight. See the values by size in the table above.
What are the benefits of a tilting transporter trailer?
The tilting system makes loading and unloading easier by reducing or removing the need for separate ramps. It saves time and gives you more control. With the 100 cm rear ramp and powerful winch, drive or winch your machine smoothly onto the bed.
How does it differ from a machine transporter trailer?
A machine transporter trailer such as the Indigo LF has a fixed low bed and a rear ramp. The Indigo HT tilts its entire load bed hydraulically, reducing the loading angle further. Useful for low vehicles and machinery with limited ground clearance.
What should you check when buying a tilting transporter trailer?
Check payload, loading angle, tilting mechanism, load bed, axle configuration and your vehicle’s towing capacity. Choose a trailer suited to your machines, vehicles and work.
Can you add options to a tilting transporter trailer?
Yes. Options include a wheel stop bar, 30 cm aluminium sides, LED rear lights, shock absorbers, a spare wheel, heavy-duty jockey wheel and black sports wheels. Explore the combinations in the configurator.
How much does an Indigo tilting transporter trailer cost?
The Indigo HT-2 starts at € 6.3403019 and the Indigo HT-3 at € 10.4303022, excl. VAT, excluding delivery preparation and registration fees. Price depends on model, size, weight category and equipment. Configure your trailer and ask a Hapert dealer for the current price and lead time.
Where can I buy an Indigo tilting transporter trailer?
An official Hapert dealer provides personal advice, availability, servicing and repairs. After registration, you receive a 10-year chassis warranty under the applicable terms. You can configure your trailer online beforehand.
02
Good to know before buying
Three topics to help you choose the right Indigo tilting transporter trailer.
Which size and how many axles?
First choose the HT-2 tandem axle or HT-3 triple axle. Then compare load bed sizes and weight categories for your machine or vehicle.
What is payload?
Payload is the gross trailer weight minus the trailer’s unladen weight.
How to calculate payload
Gross trailer weight − unladen weight = payload
Selected options contribute to the unladen weight.
Is your combination suitable?
Check that the trailer, towing vehicle and driving licence suit your transport needs.
- Check the permitted masses of the vehicle and trailer.
- Include the weight of the machine and attachments.
- If in doubt, ask a dealer to assess your combination.
What you carry makes the difference. Loading machinery and work vehicles at a low angle using a full-width ramp? Choose the Indigo HT. Mainly carrying cars on wheel tracks? See the Indigo HTA. View the tilting car transporter trailer →
