HAPERT INDIGO · MACHINE AND CAR TRANSPORTER TRAILERS

Hapert Indigo.
Transporter trailers.

Four ways to load. One robust family. Choose the Indigo machine transporter trailer, car transporter trailer, tilting car transporter trailer or tilting transporter trailer. Which one suits your work?

Four transport concepts. One strong Indigo family.

THE INDIGO FAMILY

Your vehicle determines
your Indigo.

A mini excavator to the building site, a car to the workshop or an aerial platform to the job: with Hapert Indigo you choose a transporter trailer built to load and carry heavy rolling equipment safely. Within the family, Indigo LF is the machine transporter trailer, Indigo HF the car transporter trailer, and Indigo HTA and HT the tilting transporter trailers.

Start with what you carry and how you load: over a tailgate, via loading ramps or with a tilting load bed. Then choose the number of axles, the payload and the equipment. That is how your daily work leads to the right transporter.

01

Excavators and mini excavators

Do you drive your machines onto the trailer over a tailgate? Then start by comparing the Indigo LF, with a low load bed and a full-width 120 cm tailgate. Need a lower approach angle? Then include the tilting Indigo HT in your choice.

02

Cars and commercial vehicles

Mainly transporting vehicles? The Indigo HF car transporter trailer loads with a strong winch. For professional vehicle transport with tilting wheel tracks and securing to the VDI 2700 standard, choose the Indigo HTA.

03

Mixed equipment

Do you often switch between machines, vehicles and other equipment? The Indigo HT combines a hydraulically tilting load bed with a loading ramp and a winch. Then check the payload and the permitted towing weight of your vehicle.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

Does your machine fit?
Is your version right?

01

Weight and dimensions

Know what you carry: the weight of your machine or vehicle, including bucket, accessories and fuel, and its length and track width. Compare these with the load bed of the version.

02

Sufficient payload

The net payload is the gross trailer weight minus the unladen weight. Selected options, such as a winch, loading ramps or an aluminium profile floor, count towards that unladen weight.

03

Way of loading

Do you drive over a tailgate, use a winch or want a tilting load bed for a low approach angle? Also bring the permitted towing weight of your vehicle to a Hapert dealer.

A weight class does not tell you how much you can actually carry. Compare the net payload of the specific version. Better to choose slightly too much than too little.

Tilt loading

Low approach angle. Safely onto the trailer.

With the tilting Indigo transporters you drive machines and vehicles onto the trailer at a low approach angle. The Indigo HT tilts hydraulically and has a full-width 100 cm loading ramp. The Indigo HTA tilts on two steel HAR wheel tracks, with 140 cm steel loading ramps.

Frequently asked questions about Indigo transporters

Clear answers about Indigo LF, HF, HTA and HT, choosing your transport concept, loading, equipment and service.

Question not answered? Ask a Hapert dealer →

What is the Hapert Indigo family?

Indigo is the Hapert family for transporting machines and vehicles. There are four concepts: the Indigo LF machine transporter trailer, the Indigo HF car transporter trailer, the Indigo HTA tilting car transporter trailer and the Indigo HT tilting transporter trailer.

What is the difference between a machine transporter trailer and a car transporter trailer?

A machine transporter trailer (Indigo LF) has a low load bed between the wheels and a tailgate or loading ramps, ideal for mini excavators, loaders and other equipment. A car transporter trailer (Indigo HF) has a flat load bed above the wheels with loading ramps, so you can easily drive cars and wider vehicles on.

When do I choose a tilting transporter trailer?

Choose a tilting version if you want a shallow approach angle without loose loading ramps. The load bed tilts backwards, so low cars (Indigo HTA) or machines and equipment (Indigo HT) drive on smoothly. That saves time and prevents damage to bumpers and undersides.

Which Indigo versions are available?

The Indigo LF is available as LF-2 and LF-3, the Indigo HF as HF-2, the tilting car transporter trailer as HTA-2 and the tilting transporter trailer as HT-2 and HT-3. You will find dimensions and weight classes on the product pages and in the configurator.

What does an Indigo transporter cost?

An Indigo machine transporter trailer is available from € 5.05521429, a car transporter trailer from € 4.75021432, a tilting car transporter trailer from € 5.39526781 and a tilting transporter trailer from € 6.53021435. The final price depends on dimensions, payload and equipment.

How do I secure a machine or vehicle properly?

Secure the load with certified lashing straps on the lashing eyes or lashing brackets, and use a wheel chock set or wheel stop bar for vehicles. Place the centre of gravity just in front of the axle for the right nose weight. Also read our tips for securing cargo.

Do I need a winch?

A winch is useful for vehicles that cannot drive themselves, or if you load on your own. With a winch support and adjustable winch you pull a car or machine onto the load bed in a controlled way. Your dealer will advise which winch suits your weight and use.

What should I look for when buying a transporter?

Look at the net payload, the internal dimensions of the load bed, the approach angle, the number of axles, the total weight of machine plus attachments and the permitted towing weight of your vehicle. Better to choose slightly too much than too little.

What about the chassis warranty?

Hapert offers a 10-year chassis warranty after registration, plus 1 year of extra factory warranty, under the applicable registration, maintenance and warranty conditions. See the warranty page for the conditions and registration.

Where can I buy a Hapert Indigo?

An official Hapert dealer can help you with personal advice, the current range, service, warranty and repairs. You can configure your preferred Indigo online in advance in the configurator.

02

Good to know before you buy

Three topics that help you choose an Indigo machine transporter trailer, car transporter trailer or tilting transporter trailer.

Which transporter and how many axles?

First choose what you carry: machines (LF or HT) or vehicles (HF or HTA). Then decide whether you want a fixed or tilting load bed, and choose two or three axles based on the weight.

Compare the four Indigo concepts →

What is the net payload?

The net payload is the gross trailer weight minus the unladen weight of the transporter.

How to calculate the payload
Gross trailer weight − unladen weight = net payload
Options such as a winch, loading ramps or spare wheel count towards the unladen weight.

View the versions per concept →

Does your combination fit?

Check whether transporter, towing vehicle and driving licence suit your transport.

  • Check the permitted weights of the vehicle and trailer.
  • Include the weight of the machine, bucket or attachments.
  • If in doubt, have your combination assessed by a dealer.

Which trailer may I tow? →

What you carry determines the choice. Mini excavator or loader? Start with the Indigo LF. Car or van? View the Indigo HF. Low car or prefer no loading ramps? Choose a tilting HTA or HT. Compare the concepts →
