Why Hapert
You need to rely on your machine transporter trailer every day. Each machine must reach its destination quickly and safely. That is why you demand quality, safety and reliability — and choose Hapert. Click the markers to explore ten carefully designed details of the Indigo LF.
+Jockey wheel rated to 250 kg
Standard · 01
A robust jockey wheel rated up to 250 kg that folds away easily. It makes coupling and uncoupling easier, even with a machine on the trailer.
+Full-width 120 cm rear ramp
Standard · 02
A robust full-width ramp with mesh tread for safely loading mini excavators, loaders and other working equipment. A 150 cm ramp or separate ramps are optional.
+Anti-slip plywood floor
Standard · 03
Strong and durable, with an anti-slip surface for extra grip when loading and transporting. A wear-resistant 15 mm aluminium profile floor is optional.
+Grey wheels
Standard · 04
Standard grey steel wheels with 195/50R13C tyres. Small wheels keep the bed low, reducing the loading angle.
Indigo LF-2 · tandem axle
+Welded, hot-dip galvanised chassis
Standard · 05
Hapert accepts only the highest quality. Every Indigo has a fully welded, hot-dip galvanised chassis, with a 10-year chassis warranty after registration.
+Triple axle on the LF-3
Standard · 06
The Indigo LF-3 has three 1,500 kg axles for extra stability and up to 2,610 kg payload at 3,500 kg gross trailer weight.
+Combi Protect Rail
Standard · 07
An 8 cm raised side rail provides a clear edge reference when loading. The Combi Protect Rail also accepts a wheel stop bar.
+Ten lashing points
Standard · 08
Ten lashing points around the bed. Secure machinery and equipment firmly with lashing straps.
+150 or 200 cm loading ramps
Option · 09
Instead of the full-width ramp, choose two hinged 150 or 200 cm ramps with gas struts. The 200 cm ramps reduce the loading angle further: 10° with torsion suspension.
+Spare wheel and bucket support
Option · 10
A bucket support at the front keeps your excavator bucket in place. The spare wheel can be mounted alongside it.

Advice & service
Answers about the Indigo LF, choosing LF-2 or LF-3, loading and securing guidance and the next step towards your trailer.
01Frequently asked questions02Good to know03Safe towing04Your next step
01
Clear answers about the Indigo LF-2 and LF-3, payload, loading, options and service.
What is a machine transporter trailer?
A machine transporter trailer is designed specifically to carry machinery and heavy equipment, such as excavators, mini excavators, access platforms, garden machinery and other tools.
When should you choose a machine transporter trailer?
When you regularly need to transport machinery safely and efficiently. Ideal for landscapers, contractors, paving contractors, hire companies and construction professionals. Mainly carrying cars? See the car transporter trailer.
Which Indigo LF versions are available?
The tandem-axle Indigo LF-2 comes in six sizes from 305 × 139 to 455 × 179 cm, at 3,000 or 3,500 kg. The triple-axle Indigo LF-3 comes in three sizes from 405 × 159 to 455 × 179 cm, at 3,500 kg.
How much can an Indigo LF carry?
Payload ranges from 2,165 to 2,780 kg, depending on model, size and weight category. It is the gross trailer weight minus the unladen weight; options such as parabolic suspension or a winch add to that weight. See the values by size in the table above.
What are the benefits of a machine transporter trailer?
A machine transporter trailer combines a strong construction, stable road handling and practical loading solutions. Load, transport and unload machinery under control and with confidence. The Indigo LF’s low bed reduces the loading angle.
Full-width ramp or separate ramps?
The Indigo LF has a full-width 120 cm rear ramp with mesh tread as standard, useful for tracked machines or small wheels. For a lower loading angle, choose a 150 cm ramp or separate ramps of 150 or 200 cm. With 200 cm ramps, the angle is 10° with torsion suspension.
Is a machine transporter trailer suitable for everyday professional use?
Yes, machine transporter trailers are built for intensive use and heavy loads. Choose sufficient payload, a strong full-width ramp or separate ramps and suitable lashing points. Every Indigo LF has ten lashing points and a TÜV-certified securing system.
What should you check when buying a machine transporter trailer?
Check payload, load bed, loading angle, axle configuration, lashing points and your vehicle’s towing capacity. Configure options such as a bucket support, aluminium floor, shock absorbers or LED lights to suit your machinery and daily work.
How much does an Indigo machine transporter trailer cost?
The Indigo LF starts at € 5.05521429 excl. VAT, excluding delivery preparation and registration fees. An Indigo LF-2 Fastmover at 355 × 169 cm and 3,500 kg is available from stock for € 6.085. Price depends on model, size, weight category and equipment. Configure your trailer and ask a Hapert dealer for the current price and lead time.
Where can I buy an Indigo machine transporter trailer?
An official Hapert dealer provides personal advice, current availability, servicing and repairs. After registration, you receive a 10-year chassis warranty under the applicable terms. You can configure your machine transporter trailer online beforehand.
02
Three topics to help you choose the right Indigo machine transporter trailer.
First choose the LF-2 tandem axle or LF-3 triple axle. Compare load bed sizes with your machine’s width, including tracks or bucket.
Payload is the gross trailer weight minus the machine transporter trailer’s unladen weight.
How to calculate payload
Gross trailer weight − unladen weight = payload
Selected options contribute to the unladen weight.
Check that the trailer, towing vehicle and driving licence suit your transport needs.
What you carry makes the difference. Mini excavator, loader or access platform? Choose the Indigo LF. Carrying cars or wanting to load without separate ramps? See the car transporter or tilting transporter trailer. View the tilting transporter trailer →
