Sustainability
HAPERT Trailers knows its social responsibility and wants to make its products increasingly sustainable. This is only possible by taking full responsibility for the complete chain of products of which the HAPERT trailer is a part: from used raw materials to the moment the trailer disappears from the streets.
With aluminum from Hydro, we are choosing a material with a lower carbon footprint and material properties suitable for more sustainable production and consumption. Aluminium is lightweight, which reduces energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions when using the trailer. Aluminum is 100% renewable and its recycling requires only 5% of the energy needed to produce the metal the first time.
The composite floor is produced locally, can be recycled endlessly, and has resulted in a significant weight savings of the trailer. In addition, a composite floor lasts much longer than a wood floor. Calculated over the total lifespan, in addition to all the benefits previously mentioned, composite flooring is also the cheapest option.
There are also several, easy repair options for the composite floor, but when the floor does come to the end of its life cycle, the composite floor can be fully processed and reused for various applications.

Quality
We manufacture durable quality trailers
At HAPERT we use a welding robot, the great advantage of robot welding is the high quality and high accuracy of the welding work.The welding robot always repeats the same movement precisely. As a result, every weld has the same high quality and is therefore accurately repeated on every trailer we produce.
Through smart technology, there is a specific program for each chassis. HAPERT’s welding robot uses the welding seam search system or welding seam tracking system. This allows the welding robot to continue to follow the weld seam. This keeps the weld seam of cash quality even if there are small deviations per product. This technique in particular has contributed greatly to making the quality higher.

Hot-dip galvanized
Fully welded, steel, fully hot-dip galvanized upper and lower chassis.
By hot-dip galvanizing HAPERT trailers, a thin layer of metal is applied to prevent corrosion. This delays the weathering process as much as possible, which extends the life of the HAPERT trailer.
A major advantage of electroplating is that there is no deformation because the bath reaches only 30 to 70°C. This is too low a temperature to deform iron The layer thickness of the material to be applied can be determined quite precisely and ranges from 5 to 40 micrometers (µm). This is quite thin and post-processing to remove any burr edges created in the bonding process is usually not necessary.
Production
At HAPERT we have 3 production lines
Our production line, also called an assembly line or factory line, is the organized assembly path for manufacturing the HAPERT trailer. The trailers are moved from one station to the next on a specially designed assembly trailer until the wheels are mounted. At each station in the manufacturing process, a production worker adds a piece to the finished product, performs quality control or some other task essential to the completion of manufacturing.
As our production lines have become increasingly streamlined over the years, we can make more and more trailers with less labor time. This has led to lower prices and higher quality for trailers.
