This is only possible by taking full responsibility for the complete chain of products of which the HAPERT trailer is a part: from used raw materials to the moment the trailer disappears from the streets.

With aluminum from Hydro, we are choosing a material with a lower carbon footprint and material properties suitable for more sustainable production and consumption. Aluminum is light, which reduces energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions from product use. Aluminum is 100% renewable and its recycling requires only 5% of the energy needed to produce the metal the first time.

The composite floor is produced locally, can be recycled endlessly, and has resulted in a significant weight savings of the trailer. In addition, a composite floor lasts much longer than a wood floor. Calculated over the total lifespan, in addition to all the benefits previously mentioned, composite flooring is also the cheapest option.
