The 60th anniversary of Hapert Trailers has received a particularly meaningful follow-up. During the festive celebration held last April at MFA Hapert, the company not only reflected on sixty years of entrepreneurship, craftsmanship and commitment, but also raised money for a local good cause: Stichting Hapert Actief.
Thanks to contributions from colleagues, dealers, suppliers and other business partners, Hapert Trailers was able to present the foundation with a cheque for €2,000. The donation will go to Duofietsen Hapert, an initiative that helps local residents stay mobile and socially active in an enjoyable and accessible way.
For residents who are no longer able to cycle independently, the duo bikes make a real difference. Together with volunteers, they can still enjoy a relaxed ride through Hapert and the beautiful surrounding area. Along the way, there is time for conversation, fresh air and a valuable moment outside the home.
For many participants, these bike rides mean much more than simply staying active. They offer social contact, relaxation and a sense of connection with the village.
Grandmother Rietje Saris also regularly joins the rides organized by Stichting Hapert Actief. She clearly enjoys the outings and the contact with others along the way. This makes the donation especially personal and meaningful for Hapert Trailers.
“As a Hapert-based company, we felt it was important not only to celebrate our anniversary together, but also to give something back to the village. Stichting Hapert Actief gets people moving and creates connection. That fits very well with what we stand for as a company,” says Ad Saris.
